Travelling Attorneys For Cases On Short Notice

Throughout the long history of our firm, we have been called upon on a considerable number of occasions to step in at the last minute to try major cases. In order to be better prepared to assist our clients in this regard, Marshall, Dennehey has identified a group of senior trial attorneys who are willing to accept cases for trial on short notice and are willing to travel to foreign jurisdictions at the request of Marshall, Dennehey's clients. As a general proposition, these attorneys are able and willing to work with local counsel, or counsel whom have already been retained by Marshall, Dennehey clients. Moreover, while these attorneys have their own teams specifically designed to work with them, these teams can be restructured to take advantage of the strengths of local counsel, or of the attorneys who are already involved in the case.

Marshall, Dennehey has specifically designated twelve trial teams for this practice group. All of the attorneys who chair these trial teams have tried a minimum of fifty cases to verdict and most have tried in excess of one hundred cases. Each of these attorneys has a specific expertise and is willing to try cases on short notice and litigate them to verdict in jurisdictions outside the six states where Marshall, Dennehey maintains its offices. Marshall, Dennehey has also identified associate attorneys with superior writing and research skills, paralegals, secretaries and technical support personnel who can support the trial team to whatever extent is necessary including the creation of "war rooms" and smart court rooms.

While Marshall, Dennehey has 18 offices in six states, its attorneys have tried cases in both federal and state venues in 23 states. Marshall, Dennehey is very proud of the fact that a significant number of attorneys in our firm, especially more senior attorneys, have been designated as Super Lawyers in the jurisdictions of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Florida. Thirteen of Marshall, Dennehey's lawyers are listed in the publication Best Lawyers in America. We can offer our clients a considerable number of attorneys who are members of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and a select few who are diplomates of the American College of Trial Lawyers. These two prestigious organizations are dedicated to lawyers who try many cases. They insist as a condition of membership that their members have taken jury verdicts in a minimum of twenty-five cases and most often more than fifty cases.

In recent years, Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin attorneys typically litigate approximately 750-800 cases to verdict on a yearly basis. These cases involve allegations of bad faith, insurance fraud, medical malpractice, elder abuse, products liability, sexual molestation, legal malpractice, police abuse, unfair employment practices, dram shop liability, premises liability, and a host of cases involving other theories of liability. Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin attorneys also try multi-plaintiff asbestos litigation matters, cases involving the multi-district litigation panels in the Federal Court system, and class action matters.
