Wendy J. Bracaglia is the managing attorney of Marshall, Dennehey's King of Prussia office. She concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, premises liability, and security liability. She works with Kate S. McGrath, Kevin FitzPatrick, Dan Sherry, and Steve Ryan.
Twice a year, she participates in the firm's Attorney Orientation Program with a presentation on the firm's history and culture.
Wendy graduated from Trinity College (Hartford, Connecticut) in 1977. Following graduation, she worked as a legal assistant at Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll. She then attended Villanova University School of Law. In 1980, she was hired by Robert J. Coleman, Esquire, and began working as a law clerk at Marshall, Dennehey while attending law school. In 1981, she received her Juris Doctorate. She then clerked for the Honorable Anthony J. Scirica, who was then a judge in the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and who is now the President Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
In 1982, following her clerkship, she returned to Marshall, Dennehey, working as a member of the asbestos team. Thereafter, she worked in the firm's Appellate Department. In 1986, she began working with Robert St. Leger Goggin, Esquire, on the preparation of his product liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability cases for trial. In 1989, she became the firm's first female shareholder. She has served on the firm's Associate Review, Human Relations, and 401(k) Committees.
From 1991 to 2004, Wendy worked part-time, assisting other attorneys in the preparation of their cases for trial. In 2001, she became a member of the firm's Health Care Liability Practice Group and transferred to the firm's Norristown office. She became the assistant managing attorney of the Norristown office, which then moved to King of Prussia in 2005.
In her spare time, Wendy stays involved in high school sports parent organizations at Wissahickon High School.
