Joseph has focused much of his practice in the defense of toxic tort, asbestos, and general liability litigation.

Since November of 2002, Joseph has served as the National Counsel for a high tech corporation and their toxic tort litigation across United States. In this capacity Joseph coordinates with client and carriers to analyze nationwide litigation, set policy and strategy, and execute initiatives through local counsel network. His involvement also includes review of individual cases and trend analysis; expert development; conduct meetings and conferences with clients, witnesses and counsel for information gathering and training purposes; and participation in the process of the development of annual report through providing consultation and supporting data to economic consultants. Moreover, Joseph speaks and meets with various plaintiff's counsel across the country, in conjunction with local counsel, in negotiating settlements and dismissals.

As well, Joseph has lectured on various topics for a number of organizations including the Pennsylvania Insurance Society and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Claims Association where he served as the Chair of the Legislation Committee.

In 1988 Joseph graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After graduation, he attended Widener University School of Law where he achieved his Juris Doctorate in 1992. At Widener, Joseph was elected President of the Environmental Law and Policy Society. Also during law school, he worked as the law clerk for the Appellate Division of the Dauphin County Public Defender's Office.
